This site has gone through several incarnations in the brief span of its existence. It started off in the summer of 1999 written in notepad and uploaded page by page. In the fall of 2002 I decided to use a web-based interface and switched everything over to whatever version of movable type was then available. There were plenty of rough edges. In the fall of 2004 I switched over to textpattern, misplaced some files, messed up the permalinks, and promptly stopped writing with any regularity. In the spring of 2008 I switched over to wordpress and messed up the permalinks again. I didn’t lose any files this time, but since I never dealt with what I lost in 2004, there are still a few things to tidy up.
All of which is to say that if you have arrived at this page it means you were attempting to access a file which no longer exists in any form I can find – or it never existed in the first place. I am sorry for that. And I am doing the best I can to make sure that doesn’t happen too often. I hope you find…
